Beginners Advice

Upon arriving at the Circuit

A Trackdays Spain official will check your entry tickets and you should then proceed into the paddock, find a parking place and park. Two guest tickets are included with your entry ticket. Please let us know in advance if you require additional guest tickets as admission to the circuit is strictly prohibited without a ticket and unfortunately no allowances will be made to this rule.

Please note that there are speed limits on the service roads and in the paddock area for obvious safety reasons. After parking your car, please proceed to the circuit administration building to complete our brief sign-on formalities and to attend the mandatory safety briefing.

As a courtesy to our clients, coffee, tea and light refreshments will be available on arrival and provided throughout the day.

Sign On and Mandatory Safety Briefing

Every single driver and all passengers must sign on upon arrival and attend a mandatory circuit safety briefing, before they will be allowed on the circuit.

At the sign-on, all drivers must show a full current i.e. valid driving licence. If required by ourselves or any circuit official, any drivers and passengers may be asked to provide proof of age, as the minimum age permitted is 18 years. All drivers and passengers must also sign a registration and indemnity form as required by the circuit.

A circuit safety briefing will be given to all drivers and passengers. Attendance at the briefing is completely mandatory, so make sure you attend this briefing, even if this means signing on late if you have been delayed en-route to the circuit.

The sole purpose of the briefing is to ensure that every single person attending the trackday has the most enjoyable and safest experience possible. We will tell you about safety procedures, emphasising very clearly that the event is strictly non-competitive and detail the simple rules that need to be followed whilst on the circuit and in the paddock.

You will also be informed of the procedure to be followed in the unlikely event of an accident and what the various flags that you may see waved from time to time mean.

At the end of the safety briefing, drivers and passengers who have completed sign-on formalities will be issued with a coloured wristband that will need to be shown to the pit lane marshal before joining the circuit.

Please don't worry if you arrive late, as we will repeat the briefing for the benefit of latecomers. However, obviously you will miss out on track time if you do arrive late.
